Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic retail and hypermarket accounts --MustJob SummaryThe Key Accounts Executive / Asst. Key Accounts Manager is responsible for managing and growing strategic retail and hypermarket accounts within the supermarket segment. This role focuses on building strong partnerships with major vendors, achieving sales targets, maximizing product visibility, profitability of the brand or category, and ensuring category growth across Saudi Arabia.ResponsibilitiesAccount ManagementDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with key retail and hypermarket partnersAct as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.Negotiate pricing, promotions, trade terms, and agreements.Sales & Business GrowthAchieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales/purchase targets and revenue objectives.Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies to increase market share.Monitor distributor and retailer sales performance.Category & Trade PlanningBuild yearly, quarterly, and monthly business plans for key accounts.Execute category plans and product launches in coordination with marketing and supply chain.Analyze category performance and recommend improvements.Promotions & POS ExecutionPlan and implement promotional campaigns, displays, pricing strategies, and in-store visibility initiatives.Coordinate with stores and field teams to ensure correct planogram execution.Track promotional effectiveness and ROI.Reporting & AnalyticsPrepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.Perform market analysis, competitor tracking, and pricing intelligence.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth execution of orders and plans.Ensure compliance with company policies, retail agreements, and quality standards.ExperienceKey Accounts Executive: 3–4 years of experience in retail, FMCG, or key account management (hypermarket/supermarket focus preferred).Key Accounts Manager: 5+ years of experience with strong track record in managing retail chains, preferably in the supermarket/hypermarket category.Skills & CompetenciesStrong sales and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAnalytical and data-driven decision makingCustomer relationship managementKnowledge of Saudi retail market & retail price structuresProblem-solving and planning abilityFluent in English; Arabic language skills preferredKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sales revenue & growth vs targetNumber of new account activationsMargin improvement and account profitabilityPromotional effectiveness and sell-throughDistribution & availability metricsCustomer satisfaction and relationship metricsSkills: retail,account,hypermarket#J-18808-Ljbffr
