Job Description

Key Account Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business, actively seeking sales opportunities, and creating long‑term, trusting relationships with clients.Key responsibilities include building and maintaining long‑term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, and liaising between customers and cross‑functional internal teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.Core ResponsibilitiesAchieve and exceed sales goals through strategies, sourcing new customers, and building productive long‑term relationships.Develop prospects through direct methods such as calling and face‑to‑face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking and social selling within the assigned territory.Develop trusted‑advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors.Educate customers regarding products and services and sell appropriate solutions as per their requirements.Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives.Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.Develop new business with existing clients and identify improvement areas to meet sales quotas.Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and achieve assigned sales targets with agreed gross margins.Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.Resolve customer issues and complaints, developing a complete understanding of their needs.Set quality standards for sales operational areas, ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.Qualify, develop, and maintain thorough company and product knowledge, research consumer needs, and identify how business solutions can meet those needs.Build relationships within the local market with architects, developers, consultants, contractors, and clients to execute projects to customer satisfaction.Build a network and spheres of influence to grow the prospect list.Manage the entire sales cycle: initiation, planning, execution, and closure.Prepare proposal documents, cost calculations, and provide quotations to customers.Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify growth opportunities.Process and maintain all relevant information about customers, prospects, campaigns, and leads in the system.Submit weekly and monthly sales reports with remarks on achievement.Managerial ResponsibilitiesMentor and coach the sales team.Work with sales, logistics, managers, marketing, and other departments to ensure all key account needs are met.Plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to team members and stakeholders.Engage in improvement discussions, implementing feedback to enhance performance and support team success.Work with the Marketing department to plan and execute generation campaigns.Organizational ResponsibilitiesUse company CRM and follow the Group Sales Process.Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.Coordinate and manage the overall key account strategy to ensure alignment with company objectives.Develop a solid and trusting relationship between major key accounts and the company.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities such as reading new product features, new technology, and participating in transportation industry related exhibitions.Implement and comply with the company's health and safety policy and procedures relevant to the job tasks.Report any unsafe practices or conditions to contribute to the company’s HSE goals and targets.Minimum Experience and KnowledgeBachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing.Certificate in Sales or Marketing / Master’s in Business Management is preferred.Minimum 6 years of experience selling solutions, with at least 3 years in the passenger transport industry.Department: TransportationWork Type: Full TimeCompany: AOGTPosted Date: 03 Mar 2026Closing Date: 02 Apr 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
