Junior SECOPS Analyst

This entry-level position, embedded in the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) Department, offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a critical infrastructure environment while contributing to the company’s cybersecurity resilience. This role is shift-based to support round-the-clock operations.Main ResponsibilitiesStrategicSupport the alignment of daily cybersecurity operations with the company’s Cyber Security Management Plan.Learn about preventive and corrective maintenance in relation to cybersecurity objectives.N/A – Operates under the direction of senior team members within pre-defined tools and resources.Stakeholder / CustomerEscalate security alerts to senior team members for investigation.Collaborate with internal departments and follow established procedures for alert triage.OperationalAssist in monitoring alerts, reviewing logs, and escalating issues as needed.Support execution and documentation of cybersecurity-related maintenance tasks.Participate in cybersecurity drills, audits, and awareness campaigns.Maintain clear, timely, and accurate records of all assigned tasks.Capability / PeopleEngage in training to build technical and operational cybersecurity knowledge.Work under the guidance of SECOPS Analysts and the SECOPS Lead to develop your skillset.Contribute positively to the team's continuous learning and improvement culture.Minimum QualificationsEducationA degree or diploma in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields. Candidates pursuing certifications or with demonstrated interest in cybersecurity are strongly encouraged.Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant fieldsExperienceUp to 1 year of experience in security operations, internships, or academic projects in IT/OT environments.
