Job SummaryWe are seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor with expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in cost estimation, budgeting, tender preparation, and contract administration for MEP projects.Job ResponsibilityAssist in preparing accurate cost estimates for MEP projectsAnalyze project specifications and drawings to determine and document quantities and scopes of workSupport in preparing tender documents, including bills of quantities and pricingConduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with specificationsAssist in contract administration, including preparing variations and claimsCandidate RequirementsBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fieldKnowledge of MEP systems and construction practicesProficiency in quantity take-off and cost estimation techniquesFamiliarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MS ExcelStrong communication and organizational skillsSkillsKnowledge of MEP systemsUnderstanding of quantity surveying principlesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency in quantity take-off and cost estimationStrong mathematical and analytical skillsAttention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD and MS ExcelTime management and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCivil Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
