About the job Junior Procurement EngineerOur client is a leading manufacturing firm based in Dubai are looking to hire a junior procurement engineer.Key ResponsibilitiesSupplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure the best possible deals.Procurement Planning: Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand procurement needs and develop strategies to fulfil them.Cost Analysis: Analyse market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions. Prepare cost estimates and budgets for procurement projects.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials and equipment meet the required specifications and quality standards. Coordinate quality inspections and assessments as needed.Logistics: Basic knowledge in logistics operations and documentation is mandatory.QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment in UAE.Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Knowledge of engineering materials and specifications. Self‑learning and proactiveness.
