Junior Financial Planning Analyst

Title - Junior FP&A AnalystLocation - Ras Al KhaimahDuration - 6 months (Extendable)Rate - 4500 AED / MonthScope of Work – Junior FP&A Analyst1. ObjectiveSupport the Finance team in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities, providing accurate and timely financial insights to assist decision‑making by management.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Financial Planning & AnalysisAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.Support the forecasting process by collecting and analyzing data from multiple departments.Monitor actual performance versus budget/forecast and highlight key variances.B. Reporting & MISPrepare standard financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summaries) for internal use.Assist in generating management dashboards and KPIs.Ensure reports are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.C. Data Analysis & SupportCollect, organize, and analyze financial data for trend analysis and insights.Prepare variance analysis at organisational & departmental level detailing the reasons on the variances in revenue, OPEX & CAPEX after discussion and agreements with the departments.Assist in ad‑hoc financial analysis and business case preparation.Maintain Excel models, trackers, and templates used for budgeting and forecasting.D. Process & Compliance SupportEnsure proper documentation of financial assumptions and analysis.Support month‑end closing activities, including reconciliations and journal entries if required.Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.E. Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve reporting, analysis, and forecasting processes.Support the implementation of automation or process improvement initiatives where applicable.3. Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts, basic financial modeling).Analytical thinking and attention to detail.Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.#J-18808-Ljbffr
