Junior Finance Operations Analyst Location Dubai UAE Department Finance / Operations Reports to CEO / CFO Salary Range Up to AED 10000 per month Role Summary This is a hands-on finance operations role for someone who likes fixing messy numbers bringing order to chaos and building clarity from scattered data. The focus is not high-level finance strategy. The focus is execution. This role will take ownership of reconciliations invoice tracking payout verification fee checks revenue visibility and finance process clean-up across the business. The right person will be detail-driven proactive tech-comfortable and motivated by solving problems properly. This role suits someone junior but sharp hungry to learn and confident working in the detail. Key Responsibilities Reconcile revenue payouts fees invoices and incoming and outgoing transactions Identify missing payments mismatches duplicates overcharges underpayments and unreconciled balances Organise finance records and supporting documents so everything is traceable and easy to audit Track invoices issued invoices received payment status aging items and outstanding balances Build and maintain simple dashboards and trackers for revenue payouts fees collections and exceptions Improve finance reporting visibility across the business using modern tools not just manual spreadsheets Work closely with operations and leadership to clarify numbers and clean up legacy issues Maintain clear records for UAE finance basics including documentation needed for bookkeeping and compliance support Support month-end preparation by ensuring data is accurate complete and well-structured Suggest practical process improvements that reduce manual work and improve control What Success Looks Like Finance data becomes clean structured and reliable Revenue payouts and fees are easy to track and explain Outstanding issues are flagged early instead of being discovered late Dashboards give leadership clear visibility into key numbers Finance operations run with less confusion fewer manual gaps and stronger control Candidate Profile 1 to 4 years of experience in finance accounts finance operations billing reconciliation or a related role Strong attention to detail and genuine enjoyment of working through numbers Comfortable investigating issues and following transactions from source to resolution Strong ownership mindset with a willingness to learn fast High energy and execution-focused Comfortable in a fast-moving business where processes are still being improved Tech-friendly and curious about tools automation and better ways of working Not afraid of messy data or incomplete records Able to communicate clearly and escalate issues with logic and structure Preferred Experience Experience in a startup SME fintech trading platform e-commerce or fast-moving business Exposure to reconciliations payouts invoice management fee tracking or finance reporting Familiarity with finance systems dashboards and reporting tools Basic understanding of UAE finance and bookkeeping requirements Exposure to international transactions or multi-market setups is an advantage Tools and Skills Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability Comfortable using dashboards and reporting tools such as Power BI Zoho Analytics Looker Studio or similar Able to work with accounting systems payment reports exports and operational data Good data organisation skills Basic understanding of formulas pivots lookups and exception tracking Bonus if they have used automation or workflow tools to reduce manual work Education Degree or diploma in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a related field is preferred Strong practical capability matters more than perfect academic background Ideal Personality Fit Hungry switched on and sharp Enjoys fixing broken processes Gets satisfaction from making numbers make sense Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told everything Learns fast and adapts easily Not complacent not overly corporate not stuck in old-school manual habits Compensation Note The budget for this role is up to AED 10000 per month depending on relevant experience technical capability and practical finance operations exposure.
