Junior Engineer

Job DescriptionThe Elevator Junior Engineer will support the maintenance, inspection, and repair of elevator and escalator systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and service managers, the role ensures that all equipment operates safely and in line with company procedures and regulatory standards.The position requires fundamental knowledge of elevator systems, along with basic electrical and mechanical understanding, and a strong willingness to learn through hands‑on experience. The candidate will assist in troubleshooting faults, carrying out preventive maintenance, and providing basic customer updates when needed.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute production plans in line with project timelinesEnsure availability of materials, manpower, and tools for productionMonitor daily production activities and ensure targets are achievedCoordinate with procurement, engineering, and site teamsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance productivityReduce production downtime, waste, and inefficienciesTrack and analyze production KPIs (output, efficiency, rework)Support continuous improvement and lean initiativesEnsure all production meets required quality standards and specificationsCoordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvalsAddress defects and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with HSE policies and safety regulationsInterpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsSupport resolution of technical issues in productionEnsure correct fabrication and assembly of elevator componentsLiaise with vendors for technical clarificationsSupervise technicians and production workforceProvide guidance and on‑the‑job trainingEnsure adherence to safety and operational proceduresFoster teamwork and productivity on the shop floorPrepare daily/weekly production reportsTrack material usage and production performanceMaintain documentation for audits and complianceUpdate management on progress and challengesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / industrial engineering3–6 years of experience in production, fabrication, or elevator industry#J-18808-Ljbffr
