Job Description
Job Description As a Data Scientist at adidas, you will be responsible for assisting and contributing to the development and application of a defined set of advanced analysis methodologies to optimize customer acquisition, membership, engagement, conversion, experience, and loyalty. This includes framing business needs, data exploration, as well as descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive modeling under the supervision or with the support of a more senior colleague.
Your role will also involve generating insights to increase the understanding of adidas consumers, exploring their affinities and intents to make the best recommendations to individual consumers through the right digital channel at the right time. You will have the opportunity to continuously seek to improve methodologies, challenge the status quo, and raise the standards for faster delivery.
Furthermore, you will help design, improve, and automate the data science platform and machine learning pipeline to facilitate data science activities and serve near real-time use cases under the supervision or with the support of a more senior colleague.
In the realm of Data Science Network & Storytelling, you will play a key role in helping adidas benefit from innovations in the global ecosystem of a defined area within data science, big data, machine learning, and artificial intelligence by introducing state-of-the-art techniques. You will also be responsible for presenting and promoting analysis results and insights to colleagues, including those outside of data science, in a way that allows them to understand the value of your work, apply your output, and realize business potential.
Additionally, you will support the development of a defined set of customer segmentations, acquisition and retention strategies, predictive modeling, customer lifetime value metrics, and marketing effectiveness measures.
adidas celebrates diversity, supports inclusiveness, and encourages individual expression in the workplace. The company does not tolerate harassment or discrimination towards any applicants or employees and is an equal opportunity employer.
