This is an exciting opportunity to have full ownership of a category, collaborate with world‑class brands, and influence commercial performance in a fast‑paced, highly dynamic environment.In this role, you will work closely with the Category Buyer to build and execute a compelling assortment for the Women’s category. You will develop strong partnerships with global luxury brands, stay ahead of market and trend insights, and ensure timely, profitable product selections. You will play a key role in managing the full product lifecycle, driving sales, margin, and sell‑through targets.To be successful in this role, you must bring:Proven experience in luxury fashion buying within the same category (Women’s Designer/Eveningwear) end‑to‑end buying process.A strong background managing large multi‑brand portfolios.Deep knowledge of market trends and consumer behaviour in Dubai and the wider GCC region.Proven experience conducting buying trips in Europe/UK markets.Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.If you’re ready to advance your buying career and make a meaningful impact in a leading luxury retail environment, we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Category & Product ManagementSupport the buying strategy for Women’s Evening & RTW across Bloomingdale’s and Harvey Nichols.Develop a strong understanding of customer preferences, market trends, and seasonal demands.Build assortments based on performance, store feedback, and trend insights.Participate in selection, buying appointments, and seasonal showroom visits.Brand & Supplier RelationshipsManage day‑to‑day communication with brand partners and suppliers.Research and source new brands to enrich the category’s offering.Maintain accurate vendor agreements and ensure timely ordering, delivery, and payment.Commercial PerformanceMonitor sales, stock, margin, and sell‑through; provide analysis and recommendations.Support reorders, consolidation, and markdown planning in collaboration with Planning & Supply Chain.Prepare buying reports and present insights to senior leadership.Cross‑Functional CollaborationWork with Planning, Finance, Store Management, VM, and Commercial teams to optimize product performance.Share product knowledge and brand updates with store teams to drive customer engagement.QualificationsWhat You BringBachelor’s degree, ideally in fashion, retail, business, or a related field.4+ years of end‑to‑end experience in the buying cycle of Evening or RTW Women’s Department stores, merchandising, or product related role experience in women’s fashion is preferred.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.Ability to create compelling trend and product presentations.Ability to drive the brands KPIs and launch new brands.Creative mindset and thinking out of the box ideas.Worked previously in very high volume multi luxury global brands portfolio.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.A passion for fashion and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.Willingness to travel based on business needs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
