Junior Backend Developer

Job Description As an entry-level backend developer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Spring Boot services and working on data access with JPA. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing APIs and business logic in Spring Boot under guidance. - Implementing repositories using Spring Data JPA and writing and optimizing SQL for Postgres/MySQL. - Writing unit tests, assisting with integration testing, and participating in code reviews, bug fixes, and feature development. - Working with CI/CD pipelines, Docker containers, and assisting in deployments. - Collaborating with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams. To excel in this role, you should have the following skills: - 13 years of Java development experience with familiarity in Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA. - Basic SQL knowledge and experience with Postgres or MySQL. - Understanding of REST APIs and microservices concepts. - Familiarity with Git, unit testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito), and build tools (Maven/Gradle). - Eagerness to learn, problem-solving skills, and good communication. Nice-to-have skills include exposure to Docker/Kubernetes, messaging systems, or cloud services (AWS/GCP), as well as experience with caching (Redis).
