Junior Accountant

Noorka Logistics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a candidate who has a strong foundation in accounting principles and is eager to gain hands-on experience while supporting the financial operations of a fast-paced logistics company.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in maintaining accurate financial records and updating the general ledger.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.Reconcile bank statements and monitor daily financial transactions.Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries.Maintain organized documentation of financial records and transactions.Support VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.Assist senior accountants during audits and financial reviews.Coordinate with internal departments for financial data collection.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1–2 years of accounting experience; fresh graduates with strong academic background may also apply.Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.Strong analytical and numerical skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.Skills & CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical abilitiesHigh level of integrity and confidentialityGood time management skillsAbility to work independently and within a teamAdaptability in a fast-paced logistics environmentAt Noorka Logistics, accurate financial management is essential to maintaining efficient operations.
