Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Jr Sous Chef specializing in Cold Kitchen to join our culinary team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a Jr Sous Chef you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations focusing on the preparation and presentation of cold dishes appetizers and salads.Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing the cold kitchen sectionPrepare and present highquality cold dishes including salads appetizers and dessertsDevelop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary teamEnsure compliance with food safety and sanitation standardsManage inventory and minimize food waste in the cold kitchenTrain and supervise junior kitchen staff in cold food preparation techniquesMaintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen areaAssist in cost control and budget management for the cold kitchen sectionCollaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth overall operationsParticipate in menu planning and seasonal menu changesQualifications : Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution23 years of experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on cold kitchen operationsStrong knife skills and proficiency in various food preparation techniquesIndepth knowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesCurrent food safety certificationExperience in menu planning and recipe developmentProficiency in inventory management and food cost controlExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong leadership and team collaboration abilitiesCreativity and passion for culinary arts particularly in cold dish preparationAbility to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of various cuisines with a focus on cold dishes and international flavorsFamiliarity with kitchen equipment and tools specific to cold food preparationExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusRemote Work : NoEmployment Type : Fulltime Key Skills Culinary Experience,Food Handling,Restaurant Experience,Kitchen Management Experience,Food Preparation Experience,Kitchen Experience,Labor Cost Analysis,Catering,Cooking,Cost Control,Sanitation,Knife Skills Experience: years Vacancy: 1
