Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Jr. Sous Chef specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Sous Chef you will play a crucial role in creating authentic Arabic dishes and supporting the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations.Assist in menu planning and development focusing on traditional and contemporary Arabic cuisinePrepare and present high-quality Arabic dishes ensuring consistency and adherence to recipesCollaborate with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations and maintain efficiencyTrain and supervise junior kitchen staff in Arabic culinary techniques and food preparationEnsure compliance with health and safety standards in the kitchenManage inventory and assist with ordering suppliesContribute to the creation of new recipes and innovative Arabic-inspired dishesParticipate in quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of food quality and presentationQualifications : Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution2-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen with a focus on Arabic cuisineExtensive knowledge of Arabic culinary traditions techniques and Middle Eastern flavorsProficiency in menu planning food preparation and presentationStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesIn-depth understanding of kitchen operations and inventory managementCurrent food safety certificationFluency in English; Arabic language skills are highly desirableAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situationsCreativity and passion for innovating within Arabic cuisineWillingness to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidaysLegal authorization to work in Abu Dhabi United Arab EmiratesAdditional Information : Your team and working environment:Opportunities to make your mark.
