Human by nature.Technology Associate - Your future positionIn this exciting role you will focus on applying expertise in Fragrance Technology to support our clients and internal teams. You will report to the Senior Technology Manager for Middle East & Africa and you will be based in our Dubai office.You will be working for the market leader that is at the forefront of innovation in an industry of emotions. We have a culture that works to inspire challenge and capture the heart and soul of consumers and customers.In this exciting role you will:Maintain a safe clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelinesServe as a technical contact point for defined projects collaborating across functions and with customers to ensure continuity of supportFlag potential resource or capability gaps in your own area of workMonitor costs and ensure efficient use of materials and toolsProvide advanced technical support to Development / Commercial / S&T teams within assigned projectsProject Management & External CollaborationAssist in preparing and delivering training sessions demos and customized promotional materialsContribute to innovation by identifying technical improvementsApply scientific expertise to support projectsApply smelling abilities to assess fragrance performance and contribute to technical olfactory assessmentsShare expertise and provide on the job guidance to Technicians to build functional competenciesCollaborate closely with Commercial and Development teams to provide technical expertise on fragrance technologies ensuring alignment between customer needs and technical capabilitiesActively support customer-related projects by participating in technical discussions providing hands‑on demonstrations and contributing to fragrance technology solutionsConfidently present technology concepts benefits and results to clients and visitors (in person or remotely) representing the companys technical expertise with clarity and professionalismProfessional profile includes:University degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific disciplineMinimum 3 years of experience working in the fragrance or FMCG industryExtensive experience in project managementGood knowledge of fragrance and/or FMCG science and technologiesAbility to interpret experimental results suggest next round of experiments and develop new methodsVery good knowledge of lab equipment materials and supplies needed to conduct scientific experimentsVery good understanding of a scientific documentation protocolGood knowledge of EHS guidelines as they pertain to lab maintenance and operationGood communication and presentation skillsFluency in English is mandatoryAbility to solve problems and learn quicklyBeing an effective team playerOur benefits:Attractive package with benefits.Excellent opportunities for progressive learning and development.A creative team environment that will inspire you.At Givaudan you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch peoples lives.
