As we scale across the GCC, we are strengthening our engineering standards and product quality.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Lead AQA Engineer to own and drive the quality assurance strategy across mobile (iOS/Android), web, and backend systems, with a strong focus on mobile test automation. You will lead the QA function, build scalable testing processes, and ensure high product reliability in a fast-growing tech environment.This role requires relocation to Doha, Qatar.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and implement QA strategy and best practices across mobile, web, and backendLead and mentor QA engineers (manual & automation)Own mobile automation strategy (iOS/Android): test pyramid, coverage, stability, and execution speedBuild and maintain automated test frameworks (mobile UI, web UI, and API)Implement reliable mobile E2E automation (device farms, emulator/simulator strategy, flaky test control, reporting)Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (PR checks, nightly runs, release gates)Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting (release readiness, quality metrics, risk assessment)Drive regression, stability, and performance testing (app startup time, key flows latency, crash‑free sessions)Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOpsOwn defect lifecycle and continuous quality improvements (root‑cause analysis, prevention, quality gates)Requirements5+ years in QA, including 2+ years in a leadership roleStrong experience in automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar)Hands‑on experience building mobile automation for iOS & Android (E2E/UI tests, frameworks, patterns)Solid API testing knowledge (REST, auth, contract testing basics)Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins or similar)Understanding of mobile‑specific QA topics: releases, device fragmentation, flaky tests, permissions, deep links, push notificationsEnglish level: B2+Willingness to relocate to DohaNice to HaveExperience with mobile device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, Firebase Test Lab, AWS Device Farm)Experience in marketplace / delivery / super app productsPerformance testing experience (mobile performance profiling is a plus)Cloud environment experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience scaling QA in high-growth environments#J-18808-Ljbffr
