Job Description

<div><p>Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining hospital applications with a focus on both server-side Java development and modern front-end frameworks. The role ensures stable, high-quality, and secure software solutions that enhance clinical workflows, operational processes, and administrative efficiency in compliance with healthcare regulatory frameworks.</p><h3>Organizational Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions</li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement</li><li>Ensure day-to-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures</li></ul><p>Follow-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner.</p><h3>Functional Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services using Java (Spring/Spring Boot).</li><li>Integrate software solutions with hospital systems (HIS/EMR, ERP, PACS) and external healthcare platforms.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end application issues to minimize downtime and enhance performance.</li><li>Participate in software upgrades, feature enhancements, and support activities to keep applications up to date with clinical and administrative requirements.</li><li>Follow secure coding practices to protect sensitive patient data in line with MOH, NCA, and SFDA data privacy regulations.</li><li>Ensure hospital software adheres to relevant cybersecurity and compliance frameworks (e.g., OWASP).</li><li>Work closely with IT teams, clinical informatics, and end-users to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.</li><li>Maintain up-to-date documentation including source code, user manuals, and technical specifications.</li><li>Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps (iOS&Android) using<b>Flutter</b>and<b>Dart</b>.</li><li>Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and healthcare stakeholders to deliver functional and intuitive healthcare applications.</li><li>Integrate with<b>FHIR/HL7 APIs</b>, insurance claim systems, patient registration services, or lab/radiology portals.</li><li>Ensure the mobile apps follow<b>data security</b>and<b>privacy regulations</b>(e.g.,<b>HIPAA</b>,<b>local MOH guidelines</b>).</li><li>Write clean, maintainable code and perform thorough testing to ensure reliability and performance.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or integration issues related to health data or APIs.</li><li>Stay updated on mobile technologies and healthcare compliance standards</li></ul><p>Suggest and implement improvements to existing systems to enhance performance, scalability, and user experience.</p><h3>Job Qualifications and Requirements</h3><p>3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (<b>Flutter</b>) and modern front-end frameworks</p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.</p><h3>Skills</h3><ul><li>Excellent administrative and organizational skills.</li><li>Good communication skills in Arabic and English (verbal and written).</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li><li>Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records.</li><li>Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.</li><li>Ability to manage confidential information professionally.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
