IVF Reproductive Medicine Associate Consultant - Riyadh

Basic FunctionWithin the mission, vision and values of Saudi Arabian, a member of the medical staff who is qualified in IVF Reproductive Medicine and can function as an independent consultant but does not have individual admitting privileges.Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo provide inpatient care for patients admitted to the hospital under the IVF Reproductive Medicine Department.To participate in on-call coverage in accordance with the rules and regulations of the IVF Reproductive Medicine Department, accepting inconveniences associated with patients' needs during the on-call coverage.To provide consultation services within the Department and other departments within the organization during the regular working and on-call hours according to the Department's Policies and Procedures.He/she may be required to provide clinic coverage under the responsibility of the Consultant.To perform diagnostic and/or therapeutic interventions and procedures for which he/she has been granted specific privileges based on his/her training, qualifications, experience, and skills.To actively participate in the quality improvement program of the IVF Reproductive Medicine Department.To provide close supervision of the clinical performance of subordinates and to act as a role model.To take full responsibilities of the Department's or hospital's administrative tasks that are assigned. This may include department or hospital standing and ad-hoc committees or representation of the Department on committees and/or activities outside the hospital.To participate in scientific research and contribute to the department's educational activities and postgraduate training programs as per the Department's Policies and Procedures.To regularly participate in educational activities in order to acquire new skills and knowledge and to support career advancements.To advocate for the health needs and well-being of patients and their families.To adhere to all the rules and regulations of the IVF Reproductive Medicine Department, and the organization. Associate Consultants are expected to familiarize themselves and comply with both the APPs and DPPs.To perform other relevant duties and charges as directed by the Chairman of the IVF Reproductive Medicine Department.To comply with all professional and ethical standards and express adherence to the Medical Staff By-Laws of the organization.Perform other job related duties.Functional ProfileSystems and Equipment: Health information System, Microsoft Office SuiteRelationships and Communications: Work-stream leads, subordinates; All involved internal and external disciplines clinical and non-clinical; Patients and their families, medical teamDecisions and Judgments: Expected to make some decisions and to provide guidance, advice to support staff on work related mattersMental Demands: Working under pressurePhysical Demands: Coverage during emergencies, disasters, other unplanned unprecedented occasions; Occasional overtime, on-call, weekend, holidays work might be requiredSafe Practices: related to PPE Personal Protection Equipment; Operating in safe manner to avoid/reduce the risk of injuriesRequired QualificationsEducation: Bachelor Degree in MBBS or equivalent. Saudi Board in Obstetrics & Gynecology or equivalent from an accredited institution - Essential.Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years work experience and minimum 2 years work experience in IVF Reproductive Medicine field. Training and re-certification in basic life support (BLS) every 2 years - Essential.Language and Computer Skills: English Language Level-1 - Essential; Arabic Language Preferred; Computer Level- IV - Essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
