Job Description As a Technical Lead - IT at Eaton's corporate IT team based in EITC, Pune, you will have the opportunity to manage a global organization responsible for delivering enterprise application development support for key technologies like ABAP, BTP, BW, Integration, Data Analytics, Portal, Fiori, and BOPF. Your role will involve interfacing globally with IT teams across platforms such as Oracle, Integration layers, and application consumers within Eaton, ensuring optimization and high coding standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing global leadership for delivering ABAP, BTP, BW, Integration & Portal support services in all SAP Systems (S4 & ECC) - Driving AMS partners' performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and related metrics - Leading ongoing support, maintenance, updates, solution quality, and continuous improvement of SAP Un1ty technical areas - Delivering support for a high volume and complex set of applications through Incidents and Requests - Leveraging ITIL and ITSM best practices for service excellence related to Incidents, Requests, Change, and Problem Management - Managing relationships and support engagement between Eaton and strategic IT suppliers - Planning for future-state technology portfolios and IT program investments for SAP ABAP, BW, BTP, Cloud, Portal/FIORI, & BOPF - Establishing necessary training and development plans for staff maintenance - Encouraging innovation and creative problem-solving within the role - Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining security standards Qualifications required: - Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience in SAP - 3-5 years' experience leading Technical delivery or production support for a large, complex organization - 3-5 years' experience working with Managed Services type of Engagement - Experience managing global services and software product supplier relationships - Expertise in ITIL / ITSM - ServiceNow and JIRA usage experience a plus - Advanced SAP ABAP Technical knowledge across modules like SD, FICO, PP, MM, GTS, and EHSM in S4 systems - Exposure to SAP BTP, Portal, and SAP Cloud technologies - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IT and businesses In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving IT excellence, innovation, and service quality within Eaton's IT team.
