IT System Administrator

As an IT System Administrator at Müller's Solutions, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of servers and systems. You will be instrumental in implementing and supporting network and server environments, while also ensuring the security and integrity of our systems against vulnerabilities. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance to support business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain server operating systems, applications, and hardwareMonitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and performance of IT servicesManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for systems and applicationsImplement and oversee data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery procedures are in placeProvide technical support for staff and troubleshoot IT-related issues across the organizationEnsure system security measures are in place, including firewalls, anti‑virus software, and patch managementAssist in planning and implementing system migrations, upgrades, and expansions to meet organizational needsDocument system configurations, procedures, and guidelines for future referenceRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3-5 years of experience in system administration or a related roleStrong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V)Experience with network protocols, services, and security measuresAbility to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues effectivelyFamiliarity with backup and disaster recovery solutionsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to assist and train users on IT best practicesRelevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Red‑Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) are a plusPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud services (AWS, Azure) and automation toolsKnowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasksExperience with IT service management tools or frameworks (ITIL)Understanding of database management (SQL Server, MySQL) and application server environments is advantageousStrong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to system managementBenefitsWhy Join Us:Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team.Competitive salary and benefits package.Exciting projects and innovative work environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
