Job OverviewThe IT Support Specialist maintains business productivity by resolving technical issues for on-site and remote users. This role manages attendance systems ensures IT policy compliance and leads AI-driven projects to automate manual workflows. You will balance proactive hardware/software maintenance with digital innovation to optimize costs and enhance operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProviding IT assistance to both internal office users and remote employeesTraining end-users on hardware functionality and software programsKnowledge of Firewalls Network Printers and Wi-Fi access pointsKnowledge in Google Workspace Outlook Windows and MacOSPerform daily audits of attendance logs to identify and resolve discrepanciesGenerating weekly/monthly attendance compliance reports and identifying patterns of recurring technical issues that affect clock-in/outHaving experience in CCTV and Access control systemsManage the lifecycle of staff credentials including biometric registration ID card issuanceAct as the internal "AI Champion" by providing training on AI tools to improve departmental productivity.Monitoring hardware software and system performance metricsUpdating computer software as well as upgrading hardware and systemsMaintaining databases and ensuring system securityDocumenting processes and performing diagnostic testsKeeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT supportTroubleshooting of PDA devices laptops PC printersFirst line of fixing/repairing devices before sending them to vendors for higher level of repairDevelop a network of vendors for IT and can minimize costs for IT InfrastructureFind local vendors for all IT-related procurementReduce the cost of printing in the operationsWeekly asset audits and the IRs for the slightest damage to the assetSetup a backup network at all timeExperienceBachelors degree in computer information technology.Minimum 2 years of UAE experienceUAE Driving license is mandatoryQualificationProven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.Knowledge of Attendance management systems and Access control systemsAbility to solve complex hardware and software issues.Ability to travel and work after hours when necessary.Excellent communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
