IT Security Operations Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team and support the security operations, infrastructure protection, and continuous improvement of our IT security environment.Operate and support Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and procedures, including security policy creation, upgrades, installation, monitoring, intrusion prevention, and detection.Hands-on experience in implementation, management, and troubleshooting of:Proxy solutionsSite-to-Site & Remote Access VPNF5 Load BalancerIPS, IDS, SIEM, AV, EDREnhance network security by identifying, analyzing, and mitigating vulnerabilities in existing configurations.Prepare network and infrastructure topology diagrams (Visio), write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintenance plans, and regular status reports.Participate in security improvement initiatives, technology replacement projects, and new technology rollouts.Support enabling and mass rollout of new features within existing infrastructure.Monitor IT security systems performance, identify optimization opportunities, and implement tuning when required.Develop, test, and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.Proactively monitor security devices to ensure 99.9% system uptime and prepare health and performance reports.Perform data center activities including rack mounting, device installation, cabling, hardware diagnostics, and replacement of faulty components.Technical SkillsFortiGate FirewallAV, EDR, NDR & XDRProxy SolutionsVPN TechnologiesIPS & IDSDDoS ProtectionTLS v1.2 / TLS v1.3Security & Event Log ManagementF5 Load Balancer (LTM & GTM)TCP/IP, DNS, DHCPNetFlowEducation3+ years of hands-on experience in Information Security / Network SecurityBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field#J-18808-Ljbffr
