IT Project Manager

Project GovernanceSupport Data Capture project execution through the IT Project delivery methodology / frameworkEnsure the project is scoped and initiated in collaboration with internal stakeholders and other support functionsCoordinate and chair program and/or project steering committee meetingsSet up governance and communications strategies for the projectEnsure communication plans are in placeMonitor compliance with policies and standardsEnsure the project is delivered with appropriate governance structures in placeProject Tracking & MonitoringTrack project and provide project status reports on a regular basis to the Sponsors, Steering Committee, IT PMO, and project sponsorsManage the risk, issue, and change resolution process and work with other leaders to take corrective action as neededOversee project resources to deliver the project on time, within scope, and on budgetProject DeliveryChair all project-based meetings, including project kickoff and regular project team meetings; these include but are not limited to daily stand‑up meetingsCreate and maintain project plan and workstream plansWork with Business SPOC to ensure the Business Requirement Document is in place and obtain appropriate sign‑off on project documentationEnsure all documentation is stored appropriately within the central project repositoryWork closely with Business SPOCs during UATUse waterfall and agile principles (as agreed with PMO) to run the projects, ensuring well‑planned cut‑overs (where appropriate) and transition to BAUEnsure regular review of project delivery performance and contribute to improvement of systems, procedures, and standards to improve capabilities; assist the Leadership team in continual process quality and productivity improvementThe Project Manager may be required to manage multiple projects at a time depending on the size and complexity of the initiativeAdministrationUpdates to Head of IT PMO and IT PMO AnalystsSPOC for Delivery Partner/VendorClose engagement with project stakeholders and sponsorsCoordination with external and internal entitiesEnsure compliance and availability of the team servicesRequirementsBachelor of Business or similar tertiary degree (desirable) or related IT degreeProfessional certification in Project Management (PMP and/or Prince 2) preferredMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in IT Project Management8 years of Project and Program Management and delivery experience within the Technology categoryUAE experienceProficient in Agile and Waterfall methods of project deliveryExperience in working effectively as part of a team experiencing organisational and process change, along with knowledge of organisational change management practicesAdvanced level knowledge of project and change management and associated methodologies, techniques, processes and approaches (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology PPM, Agile/Scrum)Budget, cost and profitability management skillsExperience in using resource management toolsStrategic thinking: ability to juggle multiple goals and deadlines in the context of the big pictureFacilitation, negotiation & problem resolution skillsAbility to build a strong network and relationships with stakeholders both internal and externalEmpathetic, customer‑centric approachGreat problem‑solving skillsAbility to observe and understand situations, scenarios and problemsAbility to work in a multicultural team environmentExcellent written and spoken English communication skills are a mustExcellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting and customer service skillsExperience in documentation and version control#J-18808-Ljbffr
