Today, we’re driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Job DescriptionJob Overview:The IT Pillar Specialist applies their conceptual knowledge of IT Pillar (IT) and with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward IT Pillar (IT) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures, as well as building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. The IT Pillar Specialist understands key business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations through analysis of possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.The person shall be responsible for internally auditing and ensuring compliance to IT governance processes during project execution, especially for IT infrastructure, Cyber Security and Project Softwares. The person shall also setup and support activities for non-plant design tools.The person shall interface with all the project stakeholders for the above to be achieved.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:The IT Pillar Specialist analyst will primarily provide user support to engineering, procurement, and site/constructionCommunicate with internal users of the application to address and solve user's business and application needsWrite functional specifications, design, and test developed reports, and assist with user trainingAudit and ensure compliance to IT Governance Procedures during the execution of projectsWork closely with the projects to provide follow-up support and guidance on non-plant engineering tools and other allied project softwaresAssist process owner with analyzing, clarifying, and documenting work processesSolve user problems and identify other areas of opportunityQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldMinimum 3+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications as a lead or administratorAn understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction processes in executing an EPC projectIn addition to the industry background, the analyst will need strong skills in the following areas: communication, developing and documenting requirements and specifications, development, and planning of processes to solve the user’s business and application needs, and IT project management methodologyGood communication skills are a mustWorking knowledge of the business units or processes supported by the applicationIn-depth understanding of how the application software has been set up and integrated to support business needsAbility to conduct functional testing of the applicationComplete understanding of data use, processes, and output#J-18808-Ljbffr
