Job Description As an I&O Product Management and Cost Analyst at PepsiCo, your role involves managing the day-to-day I&O Product Management Planning activities. You will work closely with I&O Technical Leads for Global Workplace Services, Network Service, Compute Services, and Cloud Services. Your primary responsibility is to act as an aggregation center for Technical Towers capabilities, IT cost structure, and Sector Demand for planning services related to S&T Infrastructure. It is crucial to have a deep understanding of cost drivers such as usage, contracts, and consumption patterns for the success of this role. Your tasks will include performing cost analysis and benchmarking activities aligned with S&T leadership and Finance to ensure cost-effective IT infrastructure. You will also set the operating cadence, drive financial insights, and support existing PepsiCo Productivity and Waste Elimination process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sr. Manager of Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Product Management to enhance platform rigor in the I&O Product & Cost Management Space.
- Define and implement I&O Product Management processes and procedures for transparency and cost insight into IT services usage.
- Provide technological, functional, contractual, and financial understanding of IT products to aid decision-making.
- Optimize IT Services and Products through waste elimination to drive efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Technical Towers to ensure transparency and alignment of Products, Services & Costs.
- Engage with Global Procurement, Technical SMEs, and IT Finance to align cost structures and drive agreement on IT costs.
- Support Demand planning in partnership with Technical Towers and Sector Delivery Leads.
- Provide insights for TBM Teams for clear communication via TBM Dashboard.
- Capture and report on consumption patterns to support Budgets and AOP Cycles.
- Stay updated on new technologies and processes related to enterprise-level IT products and services.
- Influence decisions based on data and transparency of consumption patterns.
- Develop opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and teamwork.
- Ensure data quality for transparency and trust in S&T Infrastructure services.
- Generate communication, process, and educational updates related to IT Products and Services.
- Act as the primary liaison between S&T Infrastructure and Field and Sectors Support Team.
- Partner with Finance for messaging of cost drivers and cost takeout opportunities.
Qualifications:
- 8 to 12 years of experience in IT Asset Management, Configuration Management & IT Service Management.
- 8 to 12 years Expense Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, and Cost Containment.
- 8 to 12 years of experience in leveraging Technology Business Management tools like Apptio.
