About the job IT Field Support EngineerWe are seeking an experienced IT Field Support Engineer to join our team at Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The IT Field Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for our clients' IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support and excellent communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for clients' IT systems and infrastructureInstall, configure, and maintain hardware and software systemsDiagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely mannerProvide training and support to end-users on new technologies and systemsMonitor and maintain network and server performanceEnsure data backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and functioning properlyCollaborate with other IT team members to implement new systems and upgradesMaintain accurate documentation of all support activitiesKeep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technologyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a field support roleStrong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networkingExperience with Windows and Linux operating systemsFamiliarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑VExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentValid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed#J-18808-Ljbffr
