Job Description Role Overview: Be part of a team that is transforming BCG's Data Landscape by building a centralized Data Lake to simplify and automate information delivery, providing advanced insights and analysis to support decision making. The Data Analyst Manager role is crucial in delivering best-in-class business intelligence, defining, building, and implementing new analytic and reporting use cases for the firm. Key Responsibilities: - Determine business requirements, focusing on reporting and analytic needs for senior management decision-making across the firm (with emphasis on Business Objects and Tableau based dashboards). - Act as a functional subject matter expert to troubleshoot data issues, redesign processes, and develop reports. - Refine epics and stories in Jira to provide solid requirements for data engineers. - Collaborate with key finance stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. - Define the form, content, and capabilities of the BI solution. - Identify changes and impacts on existing reporting capabilities and products. - Understand multiple data sources and create practical data models for analytics reports. - Assess gaps between requirements and current reporting capabilities. - Generate solution options and select the preferred one according to agreed-upon design principles. - Develop training materials and provide end-user training. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Economics. MBA Preferred. - 7-9 years of finance and reporting experience; less experienced considered for exceptional performers. - Good understanding of Finance and Accounting, with experience in finance for consulting/services organizations preferred. - Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent communication abilities. - Proficiency in enterprise software and business intelligence solutions (Business Objects and Tableau). - Experience in SQL and other coding languages is a plus.
