Support and assist in the management, tracking, and optimization of IT hardware and software assets across the organization. Ensure asset accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and efficient lifecycle management in alignment with business needs.Job Type6 months and extendable if the work is satisfactorySalary10,100 AED per monthLocationJabel Ali Free ZoneKey ResponsibilityExperience in inventory and asset purchase registration/tracking processesKnowledge of servers, switches, PDAs, PCs, laptops, printers, scanners and other IT hardware including deployment and hardware asset management/ software assets management is preferable.Assist in maintaining and updating the IT asset inventory, including hardware and software recordsSupport IT asset lifecycle processes such as procurement, deployment, maintenance, and disposalCoordinate with vendors and internal teams for asset delivery, tagging, and record updatesEnsure compliance with IT asset management (ITAM) policies, software licenses, and regulatory requirementsAssist in conducting periodic audits and reconciliation of IT assetsTrack and report on asset utilization, movement, and end-of-life alertsSupport budgeting and forecasting activities by providing accurate asset dataMaintain documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of ITAM processesTechnical CompetenciesUnderstanding of IT Asset Management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)Familiarity with ITAM tools and systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic database/reporting toolsKnowledge of software licensing and compliance requirementsFunctional RelationshipsInternal: IT Planning, IT Operations, Service Owners, Business Units, Procurement, FinanceQualifications, Experience and SkillsEssential Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 2-4 years of experience in IT asset management or IT support rolesTechnical Skills:Asset tracking and inventory controlSoftware compliance and license management#J-18808-Ljbffr
