As an IT Consultant you will work closely with clients to understand their needs develop customized solutions and ensure the successful implementation of IT projects.project descriptionKBR are supporting the Iraq Ministry of Planning with the development of economic and social policies within the varied governmental sectors to achieve the national development objectives. KBR will provide consultancy services covering economic master plan project prioritization technical and financial review project management ongoing project monitoring and negotiation support digitisation forms a key part of all of these services.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAssess client IT needs and provide strategic recommendations.Design and implement IT solutions to meet client requirements.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Conduct system audits and provide recommendations for improvements.Provide training and support to client staff.Manage IT initiatives and collaborate with technical support for hardware software and network configurations.Provide support with technical issues to improve processes.Provide IT support across multiple Task Orders.Support the latest technology and its implementation.EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEBSc in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent.Minimum overall relevant experience 10 years.Minimum relevant experience 5 years in the role projects.Minimum Regional Experience 5 years.Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Cisco Microsoft) are preferred.Strong knowledge of IT systems networks (LAN & WAN) hardware software and licensing.Experience with on premise and cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud).Experience in deploying IT and networking systems across the country.Proficiency in project management and documentation.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Ability to troubleshoot software hardware and network issues.Fluency in English language both written and spoken Arabic speaking advantageous.COMPETENCIESStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong customer focusPlanning & organisingAccepts ResponsibilityHSE AwarenessRequired ExperienceManager#J-18808-Ljbffr
