We strive to build trusted long-term relationships by taking a holistic and forward-looking view on our relationships and identifying ways to help clients achieve their most important business objectives.We are recruiting for a Senior Associate / Vice President level position in the EMEA M&A team with primary responsibility for M&A business in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region who will be based in Dubai.In this role you will have experience developing strong relationships with corporates and financial institution clients and working across different M&A transactions.Roles & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the origination and of M&A transactions in MENA including:Client coverage of priority accounts from an M&A perspective in partnership with client executive bankersTarget deal origination analysis and strategyOversight of the preparation and delivery of M&A pitches and RfP responsesDay-to-day project leadership of M&A transactionsManagement of transaction deal teamsManagement of engagements process and liaison with internal support functions (legal compliance conflicts etc.)Support for the management of the banks MENA franchise including:Deal pipeline and business strategy for the region including liaison with the EMEA M&A business management teamInteracting with other M&A specialist areas (sellside defence activism EPP teams etc.)Partnership with equity debt and markets groups covering the regionManagement of marketing materials and Dealogic league tablesM&A database oversight covering regulatory requirements from different jurisdictions as well as market trends and themesRecruitment mentoring and training analysts and associates from the regionSkills & ExperienceRelevant M&A experience in the MENA regionSelf-starter with the ability to confidently be the point person on a deal for clients interacting and advising them on M&A process mattersExperience developing strong relationships and working across different productsAbility to work well under pressure and tight deadlinesCommunication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionals client advisors and key stakeholders in other lines of businessTeam player able to build bridges and has the ability to connect with peopleExperience in overseeing and training junior bankersArabic language skills would be beneficial but not requiredRequired ExperienceExec#J-18808-Ljbffr
