Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate 2 level candidate who is highly motivated to work in a dynamic team and to contribute to our Investment Banking business.The J.P. Morgan MENA Coverage team is responsible for the origination and execution of public and private M&A, equity and debt transactions across sectors involving corporate and financial sponsor clients based across the MENA region. We maintain leading relationships with some of the most prominent clients across the region and aid them in delivering on their corporate strategy and structureAs an Investment Banking Associate within our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in the origination and execution of public and private mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures across all industry sectors. You will also provide equity and debt capital markets advisory on a variety of capital and debt raising transactions, including listings, rights issues, and acquisition & leveraged finance across the MENA region. Collaborating with other team members and colleagues from various industry, country, and product teams in other regions/countries, you will gain hands‑on experience, continuous mentoring, feedback, and numerous opportunities for professional development.Job responsibilitiesSupport execution, marketing and coverage work across industriesResearch and analyse market data and companiesSupport preparation of client presentationsPerform valuation analyses (e.g. based on multiples, DCF, LBO, etc.)Build detailed and complex financial modelsExecute transactions from pitch to close (e.g. public and private mergers, acquisitions and divestitures across all industry sectors, equity capital markets advisory on various types of capital raising transactions such as listings and rights issues across MENA, etc.)Proven ability to manage project and lead workstreamsProvide leadership, mentorship and supervision to AnalystsRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsAround 5 years of full-time Investment Banking or Corporate Finance experienceProven financial modelling / valuation skills/ analytical skills, with high level of attention to detailKnowledge about the transaction cycle of relevant investment banking productsDemonstrate commitment to a strong teamwork environmentBeing adaptable, flexible and resilient; ability to work self‑directed, independently and to multitask on numerous assignmentsProficiency in MS office applications and relevant knowledge of customary investment banking databases (FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.)#J-18808-Ljbffr
