Inventory Specialist

Position : Inventory Item Coding SpecialistLocation : Doha, QatarAbout the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Item Coding Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in developing and maintaining a structured inventory coding system for materials, equipment, and supplies used in our construction projects.The ideal candidate will work closely with the procurement, warehouse, finance, ERP and project management teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in item identification and tracking.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain a standardized inventory item coding system.Create item codes for construction materials, spare parts, tools, and equipment.Review and classify inventory items according to company standards and industry best practices.Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, finance, and ERP teams to ensure accurate item descriptions and classifications.Regularly audit and update the item master data to avoid duplications and maintain data integrity.Support system migration or ERP implementation related to inventory and item master data, if applicable.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in inventory management, material classification, or item coding within the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.Familiarity with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) is preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Knowledge of construction materials and equipment is an advantage.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
