Job Description
Section Head – International & Institutional AffairsThe Section Head – International & Institutional Affairs is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s strategy for government relations, institutional partnerships, and international engagement. The role supports the organization’s global positioning by strengthening relationships with key stakeholders across the UAE and internationally, while facilitating collaborations that enhance exhibitions, cultural exchange, and institutional visibility.Roles and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Director to develop and implement medium- and long-term strategies for International & Institutional Affairs, aligned with the organization’s vision and global ambitions.Define and execute stakeholder engagement strategies with government entities and key institutions across Abu Dhabi and the UAE, ensuring strong alignment with national cultural priorities.Build and maintain strategic relationships with international organizations, foundations, and cultural entities to support collaboration, knowledge exchange, and joint initiatives.Plan and coordinate international missions, including representation at major art events, biennales, and conferences, positioning the organization within the global cultural landscape.Oversee and manage stakeholder mapping, engagement plans, and response processes to ensure effective and consistent communication with key partners.Develop and implement programs to strengthen institutional partnerships, including special projects, cultural diplomacy initiatives, and cross-institutional collaborations.Support the facilitation of international loans, exhibitions, and cooperative projects in close coordination with the teams.Lead all protocol, VIP engagement, and high-level visits, ensuring adherence to international standards and cultural sensitivities.Oversee the planning and execution of special events, official visits, and institutional engagements that reinforce the organization’s reputation and stakeholder relationships.Develop and enhance Business-to-Government (B2G) initiatives, including private visits, exclusive programs, and strategic partnerships that support institutional sustainability.Act as a strategic advisor to the Director on stakeholder relations, partnerships, and international opportunities.Ensure effective coordination across departments to facilitate information flow, protocol compliance, and stakeholder alignment.Develop reporting frameworks and tracking tools to monitor international and institutional activities and measure impact.Manage the section’s budget, KPIs, and performance objectives, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.Promote the organization through participation in international forums and cultural platforms, strengthening its global presence.Lead, mentor, and develop the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning.#J-18808-Ljbffr
