The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating store operations, identifying risks, assessing internal controls, and ensuring compliance across all retail outlets and functions. This role plays a key part in strengthening operational excellence, financial integrity, and process efficiency across the organization.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>1. Audit Planning&Execution</h3><ul><li>Develop and execute audit plans for stores, warehouse, and retail operations.</li><li>Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits across multiple business units.</li><li>Perform surprise audits, inventory counts, cash checks, and stock verification.</li></ul><h3>2. Risk Assessment</h3><ul><li>Identify key risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses in retail operations.</li><li>Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend corrective measures.</li><li>Monitor fraud indicators and ensure preventive controls are in place.</li></ul><h3>3. Reporting&Documentation</h3><ul><li>Prepare accurate, clear, and actionable audit reports for management review.</li><li>Document audit findings, root causes, and risk implications.</li><li>Present audit outcomes and improvement recommendations to senior management.</li></ul><h3>4. Follow‑Up&Process Improvement</h3><ul><li>Track implementation of corrective action plans and ensure timely closure.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational efficiencies.</li><li>Assist in developing updated policies, SOPs, and internal control frameworks.</li></ul><h3>5. Compliance&Retail Operations Oversight</h3><ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, financial guidelines, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Review store‑level processes including billing, discounts, cash handling, stock movement, refunds, vendor returns, and promotions.</li><li>Ensure retail SOPs are strictly followed across all locations.</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><h3>Education</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>Professional certifications such as<b>CIA, CPA, ACCA</b>or<b>CISA</b>are preferred but not mandatory.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li><b>56 years of Internal Audit experience</b>in the<b>retail industry</b>is mandatory.</li><li>Strong understanding of store operations, inventory management, and retail controls.</li></ul><h3>Skills&Competencies</h3><ul><li>Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.</li><li>High attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Strong command over MS Excel and audit tools.</li><li>Ability to multitask, manage timelines, and work independently.</li><li>High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
