Internal Auditor (IT)

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree would be preferred. Professional Certifications Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) would be preferred. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) would be an added advantage. Relevant Minimum Experience Minimum 7 years of professional experience. Sound experience in IT Audits, including IT infrastructure security, cyber security, IT general controls, IT governance, IT operations, ERP application controls, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) security. Desired Skills IT Audit Knowledge In-depth understanding of IT audit methodologies, best practices, and industry standards. Experience in planning, executing and reporting on IT audits. Information Security Familiarity with information security principles and best practices. Knowledge of cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Audit Tools and Technologies Proficiency in using audit tools and technologies for IT auditing purposes. Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques. Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge Understanding of relevant IT compliance requirements and regulations. Ability to ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Ability to assess and manage IT-related risks. Experience in conducting risk assessments and proposing risk mitigation strategies. Technology Proficiency Knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and controls. Audit Documentation Proficient in documenting IT audit processes, findings, and recommendations. Strong attention to detail in audit documentation. Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Analytical Skills Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess IT systems and identify vulnerabilities. Ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Problem-Solving Skills Proven ability to identify and solve IT-related problems independently. Creative thinking to propose innovative solutions to IT challenges. Ethical Standards High ethical standards and commitment to integrity in IT auditing practices. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
