Internal Audit & Data Mining Analyst

Job Description Role Overview: You will be responsible for providing data mining skills and reporting capabilities to Puma Energy's Internal Audit, specifically focusing on Continuous Auditing in various IT environments. Your main purpose will involve working closely with the Continuous Auditing Team Leader to identify priorities, maintain data extraction programs, and validate the design and functioning of data mining tools before release. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Continuous Auditing Team Leader and Internal Audit Manager to determine priorities and deliverables. - Familiarize yourself with the data structure of relevant IT tools like SQL database, Alteryx, and Tableau. - Establish, correct, and update data extraction programs for Internal Audit use. - Validate the proper design and functioning of data mining tools before production release. - Stay updated on new program releases and maintain Internal Audit's BI framework for Data Analytics and Business Intelligence tools. - Suggest data mining procedures or improvements to the Audit Department for continuous improvement. Qualifications Required: - Education: 2-4 years of experience in Data Analysis support on ERP systems and SQL databases, with Alteryx skills being a plus. - Mandatory Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in data extraction and transformation for ERP systems, English communication skills, ability to work independently, experience with data visualization products and tools like Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI. - Desirable: Experience in ERP implementation projects and Internal Audit experience. - BSc or equivalent in Information Technology. Please note that you will report to the Puma Energy Internal Audit Team Leader and collaborate with various teams within the organization, including Navision experts, Tableau developers, and specialists in TMS and Workday.
