Internal Audit Data Mining Analyst

Job Description You will be working with Puma Energy's Internal Audit team to provide data mining skills and reporting capabilities, specifically focusing on Continuous Auditing in various IT environments such as Business Central, Excel Power Query, SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate closely with the Puma Energy Continuous Auditing Team Leader and the global Internal Audit Manager to determine priorities and deliverables. - Understand the data structure of relevant IT tools and stay updated on developments and updates. - Develop, correct, and update data extraction programs (e.g., Power Query, Alteryx) for Internal Audit usage. - Validate the design and functionality of data mining tools with the Continuous Auditing Team Leader before releasing them to Production. - Keep abreast of current program releases to ensure consistent service ability. - Maintain Internal Audit's BI framework to provide Data Analytics and Business intelligence tools. - Propose data mining procedures or enhancements to the Audit Dept. for continuous improvement. **Skills & Competencies:** **Education:** - 2-4 years experience in Data Analysis support on ERP systems and SQL databases. Alteryx skills in data mining programs would be advantageous. **Knowledge and Skills:** - Proficiency in data extraction and transformation for ERP systems. - Ability to work and communicate effectively in English. - Capability to work independently and interact with internal customers from diverse cultural backgrounds. - Familiarity with data visualization products, data mining tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python), and technologies (e.g., Databricks, Tableau, Power BI). - Experience in ERP implementation projects and potentially Internal Audit experience. - BSc or equivalent in Information Technology. **Reporting Structure:** - Reports to the Puma Energy Internal Audit Team Leader. **Key Relationships:** - Collaborates with Puma Energy's Internal Audit, Navision experts, Tableau developers, TMS, and Workday specialists.
