Intermediate QA Engineer (Open edX)

We work with enterprises and fast-growing startups to build scalable digital solutions through product discovery, experience design, and custom software development.Role OverviewWe are looking for an Intermediate QA Engineer with strong experience in Open edX platforms to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of learning management systems and digital education solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience testing Open edX-based platforms and works closely with engineering and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality learning experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing for Open edX platforms.Validate LMS features such as course creation, content delivery, grading, certificates, discussions, and learner progress.Test integrations with third-party tools including payment gateways, analytics tools, and authentication services.Perform API testing and backend validation related to Open edX services.Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution.Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.Contribute to test planning, test case design, and test documentation.Support regression testing during releases and platform upgrades.Ensure quality across web and mobile learning experiences.Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.Qualifications & Requirements5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.Hands-on experience testing Open edX platforms (mandatory).Strong understanding of LMS concepts and e-learning workflows.Experience with manual testing; exposure to automation is a plus.Solid understanding of API testing and backend validation.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.#J-18808-Ljbffr
