A global multidisciplinary consultancy with 16,500+ professionals across 40+ countriesDelivering world-class infrastructure, buildings, and environmental solutionsBe a part of shaping our business and driving innovation initiatives.About SJ Group:Global urban, infrastructure, and engineering consultancy with 16,500+ employees across 40+ countries, including SMEC and other leading entities within the group, delivering transformative energy, infrastructure, and advisory solutions across the Middle East, Central Asia, and globally.Role Overview:We are seeking a design-focused Intermediate Architect with strong conceptual and digital design capabilities to support the delivery of large-scale mixed-use developments and urban projects.The role will contribute primarily during concept design, schematic design, and design development stages, supporting senior design leaders and project architects in producing high-quality architectural solutions.The successful candidate must demonstrate strong design thinking, visualization capability, and fluency in contemporary architectural software tools.Key Responsibilities:Support the development of architectural concepts and design strategies across various project stagesPrepare concept design packages, diagrams, and presentation material for internal and client reviewsDevelop 3D models, visualizations, and design studies to communicate architectural intentAssist in translating conceptual ideas into schematic and design development documentationWork closely with multidisciplinary teams, including planners, landscape architects, and engineersParticipate in design workshops, coordination meetings, and design reviewsMaintain high design standards aligned with project vision and architectural quality expectationsRequirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture5-8 years of architectural design experience in international design studios or consultanciesStrong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design and design development workAdvanced proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Grasshopper or parametric design tools is advantageousStrong visualization and presentation skillsAbility to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teamsExperience in large-scale mixed-use or urban development projects is desirableWhy Join SJ:Joining our Middle East team offers an opportunity to work on large-scale mixed-use and urban developments across the region while collaborating with experienced architects, planners, and engineers within a global consulting environment.All recruitment activities are managed by our Talent Acquisition team.
