This role will be responsible for assessing and managing risk, negotiating with insurance providers, and ensuring that appropriate policies are in place to protect the company’s assets, operations, and people.The Insurance Executive will play a critical role in aligning insurance strategy with business objectives, ensuring compliance, and delivering effective insurance and risk management solutions.What You Will Be DoingStrategy & Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement the overall insurance strategy in line with company objectivesIdentify opportunities for product development and new business initiativesAnalyze market trends, insurer offerings, and competitor activityManage insurance budgets, forecasts, and performance metricsInsurance Program ManagementDesign, implement, and manage comprehensive insurance and risk management programsCoordinate with internal stakeholders (HR, Legal, Finance, Sales, Operations) and insurance brokers to ensure adequate coverageReview insurance policies, endorsements, and related documentation to ensure full and appropriate coverageEnsure all insurance requirements align with organizational goals and contractual obligationsOversee the governance, administration, performance, and delivery of insurance services across the GroupOptimize cost, efficiency, and value while adhering to approved budgets and targetsClaims ManagementManage and oversee insurance claims with brokers and insurers to ensure timely and effective resolutionWork closely with internal stakeholders and insurers to assess claims and minimize financial exposureEnsure claims are redirected to service providers where applicable and contractual terms are clear and robustLead negotiations with insurers to maximize recoveries and resolve disputesRisk Assessment & MitigationConduct risk assessments for new and existing policies to identify coverage gapsRecommend risk mitigation measures through policy structuring, insurance solutions, and contract termsParticipate in enterprise risk reviews to ensure integration of insurance into risk management frameworksStakeholder & Relationship ManagementMaintain strong relationships with insurance brokers, insurers, underwriters, and reinsurersCollaborate closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on insurance needsMonitor and review insurance programs across the portfolioCompliance, Reporting & ContractsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, mandates, and internal risk policiesMaintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and correspondencePrepare regular reports on insurance coverage, claims status, and risk exposure for senior management and the BoardContract Review and NegotiationReview and negotiate insurance provisions in project and commercial contractsEnsure insurance coverage meets project finance and contractual requirementsTypes of Insurance ManagedProperty InsuranceLand TransitPolitical ViolenceComprehensive General LiabilityMoney InsuranceFidelity InsuranceContractors Plant & MachineryErection All RiskHotel PolicyGroup Medical InsuranceGroup Life Insurance & Workmen’s CompensationEmployers’ LiabilityCharter LiabilityMarine Open CoverMotor Fleet InsuranceDirectors & Officers (D&O) LiabilityWhat We Are Looking ForSome of the key competencies required for the role include:FunctionalBachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business Administration, or CII Certification4–5 years of experience in insurance management (ideal: 5–8 years)Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims processing, and regulatory complianceProven ability to negotiate with insurers and vendorsExperience drafting and reviewing contractsStrong analytical skills to identify root causes and resolve process issuesAbility to manage end-to-end insurance processesKnowledge of PR to PO cycleProficiency in SAP MM moduleBehaviouralStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyDetail-oriented with high accuracySound decision-making and prioritization skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyComfortable working under pressureOur Ideal MatchBachelor’s degree required; Master’s de
