Insurance Claims & Compliance Coordinator

The purpose of the role is to support the efficient administration and operations of the insurance department by coordinating claims processes, managing documentation, and ensuring effective communication with both internal and external stakeholdersCore Responsibilities:Advise claims to the relevant insurance companies and diligently follow up to ensure timely processing and resolution.Collate all required claims documents, meticulously prepare claim statements, and submit them to the insurance company(s) in accordance with their specific requirements.Actively coordinate with internal staff across various departments to obtain relevant underwriting data necessary for claims processing.Prepare current and up-to-date claims and premium reconciliation reports for management review, analyzing data to identify discrepancies.Control insurance premium payable provisions and insurance claims receivables provisions to ensure accurate financial tracking.Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation related to insurance claims, surveys, underwriting, and other relevant matters.Follow up daily on the status of various claims raised against concerned insurance companies and insurance surveyors to address any delays.Maintain orderly documentation for the insurance section and ensure that all documents are filed appropriately in a central filing system.Control the claims and premium register to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.Perform additional duties and assignments as directed by the insurance manager, including participation in special projects and process improvement initiativesQualification & Experience:Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Required: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.A minimum of 2-3 years of experience may be considered exceptional for candidates of high caliber.Preferred: Experience and knowledge of banking practices and financial management specific to the UAE.#J-18808-Ljbffr
