Instrumentation Engineer (Sewerage Treatment Plant)

We’re looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join our operations in Dubai.ResponsibilitiesConcept design and detailed design development for tender and/or construction level instrumentation and control systems of sewerage treatment plants.Design of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID’s).Generate field instruments and PLC I/O lists from P&IDs.Prepare cable schedules, cable route diagrams and conduit development.Prepare instrument location plans and instrument installation details.Design control system architecture and network diagrams.Design panel elevation drawings and GA, loop/wiring diagrams and control schematics.Design electrical equipment layout and plans.Prepare technical specifications, scope of work and BOQ documents.Prepare basic control philosophy for the plant control system.Prepare datasheets and purchase specifications for field instruments and control system.Update project website with latest information.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, process and other disciplines.Communicate with global internal clients for input information and project status.Carry out other duties as may be assigned by supervisor/management.QualificationsB.E. in Instrumentation & Control.10–15 years of experience.Experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation, PLC and Emerson DCS, and Microsoft Office Suite.Experience on Middle East region projects is an added advantage.Knowledge of international standards such as ISA, BS, IEC, NEMA.Good communication and presentation skills, a learning attitude, strong grasping ability, and should be a good team member.Knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes; oil & gas sectors will be an added advantage.Job DetailsWork Location(s): United Arab Emirates – DubaiEmployment Type: Full‑TimeJob Type: RegularJob Category: Electrical Engineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
