Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Specialist to maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation and control systems across industrial or power generation environments. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems while supporting upgrades and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systemsMonitor, analyze, and optimize DCS, PLC, and SCADA systemsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policiesDevelop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtimeDiagnose and resolve I&C system faults to minimize production interruptionsSupport control system upgrades, commissioning, and system modificationsMaintain technical documentation, system configurations, and maintenance recordsCollaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teamsProvide guidance and training to junior techniciansQualifications & ExperienceEducation: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Instrumentation (preferred)Certifications (Preferred):Professional certification in Instrumentation & Control (e.g., ISA, ECSA)Experience8–10 years’ experience in I&C maintenance within industrial or power generation environmentsStrong hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentationExperience in hazardous area classifications and explosive environments (preferred)Knowledge & SkillsAdvanced understanding of process control systems, safety systems, and diagnosticsProficient in regulatory compliance and safety standardsExpertise in predictive maintenance tools and IoT-based diagnosticsProficient in system integration and control system lifecycle managementAdvanced troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skillsProficient in control system software and CMMS (e.g., SAP PM)Strong project management skills for shutdowns, upgrades, and turnaroundsGood analytical, leadership, communication, and mentoring skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
