Job DescriptionThe Department of Special & Gifted Education at the College of Education, United Arab Emirates University, invites applications for the position of Instructor. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or, preferably, a Ph.D. in Special Education. Applicants should have a strong record of academic and research achievements, along with teaching experience in the field of Special & Gifted Education. A demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and undergraduate student advising is essential. The successful candidate must have hands‑on experience working with individuals with special needs, including students with autism, gifted and talented children, language delays, learning disabilities, and speech and language disorders. Proficiency in the use of educational assessment tools and diagnostic procedures is required. Familiarity with assistive technology and AI tools in special education will be considered an asset. The language of instruction is English; therefore, proficiency in English is essential.Minimum QualificationsOnly qualified candidates with strong academic and research accomplishments will be considered.
