Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Structural Inspector to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of structural elements in our major projects.Conduct thorough inspections of structural components in Roads and Bridges projects to ensure compliance with contract specifications local building codes and safety standardsReview and familiarize yourself with project contract documents detailed drawings specifications and health and safety measuresPerform on-site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Structural Engineer (SE)Maintain accurate records of contractor resources equipment and daily activitiesPrepare comprehensive daily reports for the RE or SE including work orders materials delivery and inspection programsImplement and monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures on-siteConduct site measurements and surveying checks for bridge work and associated structuresCoordinate with the client project manager during site inspectionsMonitor contractor QA/QC activities and maintain relevant recordsAssist in resolving site issues promptly in collaboration with the RE or SEParticipate in the start-up commissioning and handover processes of site worksMaintain detailed records of materials tests and executed worksPerform audit inspections to ensure conformity with contract documents and contractor-submitted plansQualifications : Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil EngineeringMinimum 7 years of experience in structural inspection for building projectsAt least 3 years of experience working in the UAE (preferred)In-depth knowledge of structural engineering principles and practicesFamiliarity with local building codes and regulations in Ras Al Khaimah and the UAEStrong understanding of contract documents detailed drawings and project specificationsProficiency in structural inspection software and toolsExcellent site supervision and inspection skillsThorough knowledge of quality control and quality assurance proceduresCompetence in site measurement and surveying techniquesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishWillingness to work on-site in Ras Al Khaimah UAEAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentStrong commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulationsAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
