Inspector- Roads

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector- Roads to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. As an Inspector- Roads you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality safety and compliance of road construction and maintenance projects throughout the emirate.Conduct thorough inspections of road construction maintenance and repair projects to ensure compliance with local standards and specificationsUtilize specialized equipment and tools to assess road conditions materials and workmanshipPrepare detailed inspection reports documenting findings deficiencies and recommendations for corrective actionsReview and interpret technical drawings specifications and contract documents related to road projectsCollaborate with contractors engineers and other stakeholders to address issues and ensure project qualityMonitor and enforce safety regulations on construction sitesPerform quality control tests on materials used in road construction and maintenanceMaintain accurate records of inspections test results and project progressParticipate in project meetings and provide updates on inspection activities and findingsStay current with industry standards regulations and best practices in road construction and maintenanceQualifications : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in road inspection or a related fieldIn-depth knowledge of road construction and maintenance techniquesProficiency in using inspection equipment and toolsStrong understanding of safety regulations and standards in road constructionExcellent report writing skills and attention to detailAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsProficient in using computer software for data entry and report generationFamiliarity with local road construction standards and regulations in Abu DhabiValid UAE drivers licenseAbility to work in outdoor conditions in Abu Dhabis climateRelevant certifications in road inspection or construction management (preferred)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to perform field inspections and navigate construction sitesAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
