Qualifications & job skillsFull time Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.MMUP certified is added advantageWorking experience of 8 to 10 years with minimum 5 years as QAQC function Infrastructure & building projectsQualified Lead auditor in QMS ISO 9001 is added advantageSpecific requirement (if any)Experience as QAQC in Middle eastOil and gas experience, petrochemicals/refinery experience is added advantage.Job SummaryGeneralLiaise with the Customer Representative on the day to day quality related activities of the projectEnsure the preparation of project specific QA/QC procedures, work instructions & ITP/Quality Plans as required and issue as per the Company IMS Procedures.Review stagewise inspection requests, carry out inspections and process further for client inspectionsUndertake quality awareness sessions, walk through, tool box talks in project through various initiatesConduct trainings on Quality control, testing, ITPs etc.Monitor Subcontractor’s performance for compliance with Quality requirements.Ensure through the focal point for inspection, Monitoringand Measuring Devices used in the project are verified for validity of calibration.Raise Non-Conformance (NCRs), where warranted, on process / product non-conformances and liaise with discipline personnel to ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.In consultation with the Project Manager, identify in-house / external training needs relating to Quality for all personnel in the project and bring to the notice of the Project QAQC Incharge.Ensure HSE compliance in your area of workDiscipline specificInspection of all civil activities related to infrastructure and buildingsReview method statements for technical adequacy and inspection and testing requirementsConversant with QCS and Ashgal requirementsReview and approve inspection and testing reports such as concrete, earthworks, MTC, etc.Conduct awareness sessions to skilled manpower like masons, fitters, carpenters, earthwork operators for concrete, rebar, finishing works and earthworks etc.Liaise with discipline Engineers for interdiscipline co ordination between utilities like electrical, water, drainage, etc.Review technical submittals drawings of subcontractors including engineeringReview all the reports and compile for project dossierCarryout Inspections pertaining to Subcontractors activities.
