Inspector Mechanical

General Description of Role and ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections of mechanical works including HVAC plumbing fire protection and piping systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.Monitor installation processes and materials to verify adherence to approved shop drawings and method statements.Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.Review and verify material submittals test reports and quality assurance documents.Conduct witness testing and commissioning activities to verify system performance and functionality.Maintain accurate inspection records prepare daily reports and document nonconformance issues.Coordinate with project engineers contractors and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure smooth project .Ensure that all mechanical works comply with local regulations safety standards and quality assurance procedures.Participate in project and coordination meetings to discuss progress quality concerns and resolutions.Assist in final inspections and project handover including preparing punch lists and verifying rectification works.Qualifications Experience Knowledge and SkillsDiploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection within largescale construction projects preferably in the UAE.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing fire protection and piping installations.Proficiency in using inspection tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD MS Office).Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASHRAE NFPA local authority regulations).Excellent attention to detail analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.Good communication and coordination skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
