Job Description

Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial units to ensure compliance with quality standards, functionality, and safety before handover.Verify the completion of all work according to project specifications and quality guidelines, ensuring units are fully prepared for occupancy.Identify and document any defects, incomplete work, or issues discovered during inspections and ensure they are addressed before final handover.Perform re-inspections when necessary to verify that previously identified issues have been resolved to satisfaction. Report Preparations Prepare after inspection reports, detailing the condition of units, defects, and necessary follow-up actions.Submit completed reports to the Handover Manager or the relevant department for review, further action, and resolution of any identified issues.Report on the status of units and inspection-related tasks, highlighting critical issues needing attention before handover.Update and maintain inspection databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date, along with any other tasks related to the handover process as requested by the line manager Skills Required Proven experience in property inspections, quality control, or construction management, preferably in facilities management or similar field.Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or quality issues in construction or finishing.Excellent communication, reporting, and documentation skills.Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure smooth handover processesProblem-Solving Abilities & Team Collaboration.Proficiency in Software & Tools: Comfortable using inspection-related software, databases, and reporting tools for tracking progress, documenting inspections, and managing tasks.
