Inspection Engineer

Our 99,600 employees operate a network of 2,650 offices and laboratories, working together to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.Job DescriptionResponsible for planning, conducting, and supervising inspections of industrial equipment and processes to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in inspection, QA/QC, or process engineering within chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.Experience supervising inspection teams and coordinating with operations, maintenance, and engineering departments.Exposure to regulatory audits and compliance with national or international standards is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.Additional certifications in inspection (preferred).Training in relevant industrial standards and safety compliance.Proficient in inspection techniques, visual inspections...etc.Understanding of engineering drawings, P&IDs, process documentation, and technical specifications.Knowledge of industrial codes and standardsAbility to analyze inspection results, identify non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.Familiarity with QA/QC management systems and inspection software tools.Excellent report writing, documentation, and communication skills.Additional InformationWhen you join SGS, you are part of a commitment to enable a better, safer and more interconnected world.
